Blogging is a thing of the past. Substack is where it’s at, and I’ve just launched my newsletter, On Writing, History, Creativity, and Life. Yes, of course, I’ll be talking about my novel, AKMARAL, but I’ll also share what inspires me in art, music, dance, nature and the environment, plus discoveries in science and archaeology that intrigue and challenge me. And, of course, I’ll have a creative writing prompt or two with every newsletter, so get your pen or keyboard ready!

I’ll do my best to keep it interesting, and hope you’ll share fascinating finds and creations of your own.

I promise not to inundate you with too many emails. Just once a month or so, and maybe a little more often when something exciting is happening, like the launch of AKMARAL in May 2024.
